He published many paper in different areas of interest like Effect of Cenosphere filler on damping properties of bamboo-epoxy laminated composites, Advanced Composite Letters, Nonlinear static analysis of smart laminated composite plate.

His research interests are industrial noise control, automobile noise control, monitoring of machines. Recently he published many papers (international journals) like "Backpressure considerations in designing cross-flow perforated-element reactive silencers" "Combination Mufflers - Theory and Parametric Study" "Plane Wave Propagation in Generalised Multiply Connected Acoustic Filters" etc.

His research interests includes Composite materials processing, Impact studies, Nanocomposites, fatigue of composite materials and repair of composites. He was instrumental in developing the In-Situ Composite Pipeline Repair Solutions.

His research interests include studying the structure and function of proteins using biophysical techniques. He is particularly interested in the structure-function aspects of heat shock proteins that are associated with the proliferation or prevention of several human diseases like tuberculosis, leprosy and cataract. He is also interested in understanding the mechanisms behind the interaction between the metal complexes (anti-cancer agents) and DNA/proteins. He has expertise in spectroscopy and in developing the biophysical Techniques.
