Vasitars Private Limited has been incorporated in India on 18th Day of January 2017 (CIN U74999DL2O17PTC3L0759) with a target to bring innovation in the field of transmission pipeline repair. The seed of this organization was sown in summers of 2015, when three students of IIT Bhubaneswar started their research on use of composite materials in repair of transmission pipeline. The hard work and academic excellence of these three students under the guidance of academic and industry experts results into invention entitled "Nano Filler Reinforced Polymer Composite Wrap to Repair Corroded Pipelines". A patent application (201731007916) was filed to register the innovation under Patent Act in India. A team was created in 2016 of these three students accompanied by other students of IIT Bhubaneswar to study the market requirement. It was observed that there is huge scope of the invented technology in transmission pipeline. With the above observation and few initial pilot projects with Oil and Gas Companies and Water Resource Companies, Vasitars Private Limited was formally formed. Vasitars Private Limited collaborated with a leading Oil Marketing Company and further development of product was initiated at lab scale under mentorship of academician from IIT and industry experts from the Oil Marketing Companies.
The product has been developed and tested on recommended standards listed under ISO, ASME and OSID. Satisfied with the lab test outcome, Vasitars Private Limited has launched the product at commercial levels. Research and upgrade of Product is very near to the heart of Vasitars’ leaders, thus research and product development is a continuous process in Vasitars.

- A market survey was conducted with leading Oil and Gas Organization in Odisha, Kolkata and Chennai region to understand the market requirement in January and February 2017.
- Initial Product prototype was made and tested in laboratory in llT Bhubaneswar and llT Madras February 2017.
- Patent application was filed with Indian Patent Office at Kolkatta Jurisdiction with Patent Application Number 201731007916 in March 2017.
- Vasitars registered its Kit on e-commerce website like lndiamart and sold its first Kit from the e-commerce website in April 2017.
- Executed its first pilot project with lOCl- Paradip in April 2017

- Executed project for JUSCO (A Tata Steel Subsidiary) for repair of leaking pipeline carrying water in January 2018.
